Cucumber based dip with yogurt and mint

Ingredients


  • 170g plain Greek yogurt
  • 85g grated cucumber
  • 15ml lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • salt and black pepper
  • 15ml chopped mint (Optional)

Method


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and regrigirate for at least one hour (To allow flavours to develop)

Note: Serve with pita bread as a dip,or as an accompaniment sauce
