  • 4 cups fat free milk
  • 1 cup polenta
  • 1/4 cup taco seasoning mix
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • dash hot pepper sauce
  • 4 1/2 oz green chili can
  • 1 cup shredded jack cheese


in large saucepan combine milk, butter, taco seasoning, pepper sauce and bring to a boil

add polenta  and mix and stir on low for 4 to 5 minutes till thick

remove from heat stir in chili and pour into 2 quart dish

cool in refrig  until firm 4--24 hours


invert on cutting board and cut into 16 triangles place back in dish overlaping the triangles and sprinkle with cheese

bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes

you can sprinkle with onion, salsa, sour cream parsley and or chopped tomato
