Ingredients


  • SAUCE
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 T cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup blueberries (mash or break up with back of spoon)
  • 3 cups of blueberries
  • 1 T butter
  • PIE SHELL
  • 1 9-inch pastry pie shell

Method


Sauce: 
Mix together, cook and stir till thick:  sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, 1 cup berries (mash or break up with back of spoon). 

Remove from heat and stir in butter.  Let cool.

Fold in 3 cups of blueberries.
   
Pour into baked pieshell and refrigerate for an hour or until set.  Top with whipped cream.
