  • cooking apples 2
  • Puff pastry sheet 375 gm
  • brown sugar 3-1/2 tbsp
  • cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp
  • cloves powder a generous pinch
  • oil for frying

Take 2 cooking apples, i am using granny smith apples. peel the skin take out the seeds and cut the apple in small cubes.
add them in a pan with 3-1/2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder and pinch of clove powder.
Now turn on the heat and cook them for almost 10 minutes on medium heat or until apples are little bit tender. let them cool completely. take a puff pastry sheet. cut this in 6 long strips divide the apple mixture in 6 parts, and keep that on the half sheet strips. be careful do not use any liquid syrup from apple mixture. now fold the remaining puff pastry strip on apple mixture and press with fork from both side so that is completely close, if you feel any air pocket inside take that out. now freeze them. When you want to eat them, take out from freezer and fry them as it is in hot oil until light golden. add them in hot oil then after 1 minute turn the heat on medium until light golden and crispy. .take out on paper towels, serve as it is or serve with fresh whipped cream that will increase the flavor.
